As a blogger we get to review some pretty cool products, the Bamboo Spark from Wacom is definitely one such product. This smart folio allows you to electronically share handwritten notes. Just write on the notepad in Bamboo Spark, press the button and it synchronises what has been written or drawn on the paper to the Wacom Cloud, storing it for later refinement. The latest update to the Bamboo Spark means you can also convert handwriting to text.
The Bamboo Spark is available in three options:
- Bamboo Spark with gadget pocket – features a carrier for smartphones, cards and paper
- Bamboo Spark tablet sleeve – crafted from premium materials and hashes enough space for a tablet
- Bamboo Spark with snap fit for iPads – ideal for use with the iPad Air 2
With Father’s Day just around the corner we were asked to create a digital Father’s Day card. Drawing daddy as a superhero and listing his ‘super hero’ qualities.
The Bamboo Spark was so easy to use, there was no need to set anything up, just remove from the box, download the app, sync and you are ready to go.
As Baby is only 3 we created the picture together and it was so funny to hear what she thought were daddy’s superhero qualities; putting up pictures! Ha ha!
What’s included in the box?
- A smart folio with gadget pocket (My iPad mini just fits in this)
- USB cable for charging
- A smart ballpoint pen
- 2 pen refills
We have just got to stick the picture on some card and our Father’s Day surprise is complete. I’m sure he will love it!.
Baby’s mind was totally blown by the Bamboo Spark, she couldn’t believe that what we had just drawn ended up on Mummy’s phone. Her face was a picture.
It would be ready handy to use the text conversion part of the app and for your handwritten notes to magically appear in text form on your device.
The Bamboo Spark is definitely a great piece of technology that all the family would enjoy using.
Here’s a video to show you a little more about how it works in practice.
Would you enjoy the Bamboo Spark? Would it blow your kid’s minds like it did Baby’s?
